The Ultranav General Business Principles
are
the commitment that the company has undertaken
with its stakeholders about how to conduct its
business at all times, based on its values and
corporate culture.
All Ultranav stakeholders, be they employees, customers, suppliers, the community or the competition, are invited to raise their doubts and/or make whistleblowing reports on the activities undertaken by our organisation.
All information reported will be treated in a confidential manner. The Ultranav Ethical Committee will critically evaluate all incoming reports and address issues according to our principles.

Our business principles

Economic sustainability and free competition
Long-term profitability is essential to achieve our business goals and continued growth. It provides the necessary resources for the continuous investment required to renew and develop our fleet and services, in order to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. Without a strong financial base, it would not be possible to fulfil our commitments with our stakeholders.

Business integrity
Ultranav is adamant about honesty, integrity and fairness in all aspects of our business and we expect the same in our relationships with all those with whom we do business.

Pleasant and safe workplace
Ultranav promotes a safe, clean and open workplace. Harassment or any behaviour that may be perceived as threatening or disrespectful is unacceptable. Ultranav prohibits discrimination against employees, shareholders, directors, customers and suppliers on account of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, or social origin. Workplace diversity at all levels is encouraged.

Environmental protection
Ultranav is committed to the protection of the environment and supports the precautionary principle, avoiding the use of materials and methods posing environmental and health risks, as far as reasonably practicable.
Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct of Ultranav establishes the internal conduct guidelines which drive and guide the behaviour expected of all employees in every company of Ultranav in the performance of their daily work and activities, and in the relationships and engagement with stakeholders (public and private), so as to comply with the commitments undertaken by Ultranav in its General Business Principles and carry out commercial activities with honesty, integrity and fully complying with the laws and regulations set forth in the jurisdictions where the company operates.
Ultranav has identified the following focus areas:
1. Respect for people
Ultranav adheres to internationally recognised labour and human rights standards as defined in the principles of the UN Global Compact. Ultranav respects people’s rights and is against any type of discrimination. It also prohibits any act of physical violence or aggression, either verbal or written, in the workplace.
2. Safety and environmental responsibility
Ultranav’s employees must comply with the applicable regulation, the industrial requirements and those of its customers on health, safety, environmental protection and improvement of the energy performance.
3. Protection of the company’s assets
All employees must protect Ultranav’s assets and ensure their efficient use. Ultranav gives its employees all the resources needed for the correct performance of their work.
4. Confidential information, privacy and data protection
All employees shall safeguard the confidential information of Ultranav, as well as that they receive from customers and suppliers. Confidential information must not be disclosed and/or published without suitable authorisation.
5. Compliance with laws
Ultranav and its employees must comply with all the laws, standards and /or regulations in force in the jurisdictions in which they undertake their activities.
6. Anti-corruption practices
Ultranav does not accept or promote immoral or corrupt practices or permit extortion or bribes.
7. Conflict of interest
Ultranav establishes that employees must avoid any situation in which their personal interests are or seem to be in conflict with their duties to the organisation.
8. Free competition
Ultranav and its employees must comply with all the laws and regulations that protect free competition in the countries where it has its operations.
9. Trade sanctions
Ultranav and its employees must comply with the laws and regulations of trade sanctions applicable, including those managed by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and by other competent authorities and states.
10. Anti-money laundering and combatting terrorist financing
It is an Ultranav policy to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in relation to anti-money laundering and combatting terrorist financing.
11. Books and files
Ultranav’s books and files shall accurately and timely reflect all the organisation’s transactions.
12. Gifts and entertainment
The company discourages employees receiving gifts or entertainment from people outside Ultranav and discourages employees from giving gifts or entertainment on behalf of Ultranav to people outside the company.
13. Wrongful influence on auditors
Any internal or external audit shall be conducted free of any wrongful influence on the auditors.
14. Obligation of reporting
Compliance with the standards
of Ultranav protects all its employees and the
value of the resources and operation of the
organisation and its reputation of acting
correctly. The identification of problems or
infringements helps to solve them quickly and
suitably or prevent them from increasing or
being repeated, benefitting and improving the
workplace.
